We are seeking a talented individual to join our Insurance Operations / Fiduciary Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in Bogotá, Colombia. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Formal Standard shift hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Please note that overtime may be required during peak periods in January, July, and December.
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled US Invoicing Specialist to join our growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading global insurance brokerage and risk management firm during a time of expansion and transformation. The specialist will play a key role in managing invoicing requests, collaborating with client-facing teams, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices within the US insurance broking lifecycle.
We will count on you to:
- Create and generate invoice requests, working closely with client support teams.
- Manage your book of work and ensure timely delivery on all cases as per SLAs (i.e. Meet SLAs on Accuracy, Productivity and TAT as per agreed standards).
- Utilize proprietary billing systems to ensure timely and accurate invoice requests.
- Meet individual productivity, accuracy, and timeliness metrics.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and data security guidelines.
- Remain current by understanding and following all Marsh compliance, professional and transparency standards.
- Highlight and escalate operational risks to appropriate authorities for corrective action.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
- 2+ years of experience in team and administrative process management, preferably within the insurance industry and US insurance.
- Good analytical skills to understand reports and performance trends.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (formulas, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote client teams.
