The ICMD focuses on supporting the Egyptian economy and constantly strives to contribute directly to companies operating in vital economic sectors, serving as the largest and one of the most active private equity investors across Egypt. The Division utilizes several tools, including mergers and acquisitions, bond issuance (both corporate and securitized), private placement, initial public offerings (IPOs), divestments, and restructuring to optimize its portfolio. ICMD plays an active role in Debt Capital Markets (DCM) with a clear focus on initiation and structuring, pricing, execution, underwriting, and fundraising.

What We Do
Banque Misr (BM) was established in 1920 by the pioneer economist and financial expert Mohamed Talaat Harb Pasha, who spearheaded the concept of investing in national savings and directing them toward economic and social development.
