About the Role
Saxo Bank is a leading FinTech platform connecting investors and traders to global financial markets through an industry-leading online trading platform. We are looking for an Investment Strategist to join our investment strategy team focusing on delivering expert insights, actionable strategies, and high-quality content that engages, educates, and inspires both buy-and-hold and active investors.
The role primarily involves equity markets—covering single stocks, thematic investments, and ETFs—and combines financial market expertise with content creation to ensure consistent, timely, and high-quality insights are delivered across multiple channels.
Key responsibilities
Market analysis & insights
- Conduct market research and analyze economic and industry trends to generate relevant and timely investment insights.
- Provide expert commentary on financial markets, companies, earnings releases, and market-moving events, with a focus on thematic trends and equity market opportunities.
- Keep clients informed and ahead of market trends through timely updates and insights.
Content creation
- Develop engaging, client-centric content tailored to diverse investor profiles, including thematic insights, tactical ideas, stock picks, and quarterly outlooks.
- Maintain consistency and quality across various content formats, including written, podcast, and video channels.
Collaboration & strategy
- Align content strategies with client needs, market dynamics, and broader commercial objectives by collaborating with Investor and Trader content teams and internal stakeholders.
Your profile
Investment & market expertise are crucial, and an advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field, coupled with proven experience in investments, asset allocation, or complex financial instruments is essential.
A strong understanding of equities, ETFs, thematic investments, and broader financial markets, including macroeconomic trends and sector dynamics, is necessary to simplify complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for clients.
Content & communication skills must include fluency in English with exceptional writing and storytelling skills, capable of producing high-quality thematic content, tactical stock picks, and market outlooks.
Comfort with delivering content through podcasts, videos, and written formats, with a journalistic approach to uncovering trends, is also important.
Organizational & collaboration skills are key, as one must be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, while being team-oriented with a collaborative mindset to work across different functions.
