Investment Specialist, Private Markets

This is a great job for someone early in their investment management career to join an ambitious, market-leading and growing pan-European Private Markets platform.

A bit about the job:

This role will sit our investment division and is part of our global investment specialist team.  Investment Specialists serve as the bridge between the investment desks and the rest of the business, including global distribution and product. The team remit is to both grow and protect the business, enhance the capability offering and support a best-in-class platform across all disciplines.  Our portfolio consists of principally real estate, infrastructure, private credit and venture capital. The role will help deliver market leading product and capability collateral, support new product initiatives and help deliver existing sales plans.   

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Previous experience of working in a Private Markets business

• Individuals looking for the next stage of their career development in a business with demonstrable ambitions to be a market-leading Private Market franchise

• Strong interpersonal and technical skills, ideally with previous client facing experience and/or fundraising experience

• Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

• A can-do positive attitude and ambition to make a meaningful material difference in a high paced environment

In this role you’ll be ‘Certified’ under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we’ll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain ‘fit and proper’ and competent to carry out your role. We’ll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.
