With more than 250 professionals, our Investment Solutions department is responsible for providing sophisticated and tailored investment proposals to our private clients.
The offering include portfolio management of discretionary mandates, investment advisory, funds, hedge funds, private assets and execution capabilities as well as the investment strategy and research services. In order to grow our business, develop our services further and coordinate with compliance, risk, finance and IT functions, we are looking for a senior Investment Project Manager.
Investment Project Manager - Geneva or Zurich
Your Role :
- Oversee the delivery of multiple projects linked to the global development of the investment offering, investment process, operational and IT-related, while ensuring all stakeholders and sponsors are kept informed
- Coordinate new business initiatives across investment solutions and drive IT development planning and projects in cooperation with bank’s operations and technology functions.
- Collaborate with Investment Solutions’ business management and operations teams to improve workflows and find synergies in the services we offer. Support with business risk management.
- Define project timelines, funding needs, technology requirements and procedures to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
- Establish and maintain project-level governance including executive-level reporting to fulfil stakeholder requirements on progress against key criteria such as cost, schedule, resource utilization, change control, risks, issues and benefits
- Facilitate the involvement of various project methodology disciplines to contribute to project success. Ensure the review of possible risks, issues and dependencies that could impact delivery and either resolves or escalates as appropriate
- Ensure the appropriate support structures are in place to support required meeting outputs and artefacts
- Work with stakeholders across multiple departments to drive the execution of complex projects
Your Profile :
- Several years of relevant work experience, e.g. as a current or former management consultant (e.g. Deloitte, E&Y, PWC) with experience in financial services
- Proven experience in a project management role for a financial services firm
- Fluent in English (French or German is a plus); excellent communication (written and verbal), networking, influencing and presentation skills
- A self-starter with the ability to operate independently and lead large projects with limited oversight
- Familiarity with private banking services, products and processes
- Can achieve results by building consensus across organizational and functional lines and in managing cross borders stakeholders in a matrix environment
- Proficient level of Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint and Excel
- Detail-oriented, thoroughness and strong ownership of work
- Proven ability to chair meetings with clear agendas, inputs, and documented outputs. Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment – strong sense of urgency
- Good team player with a strong willingness to support others
