Position Overview
The Investment Product Analyst will work closely with the combined Credit and Emerging Markets Debt Product and Investment teams to deliver investment and product information to a range of internal and external clients. Excellent data management and technology skills are required, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Knowledge of fixed income and equity markets is required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and report portfolio characteristics, statistics, and other investment data primarily for Credit and Emerging Markets Debt products to internal and external clients in a timely manner. Accounts include segregated mandates, UCITS, US mutual funds, CITs and LPs.
- Update data for strategy and fund presentations as well as client marketing material including fund fact sheets, sales aids and quarterly investment reports.
- Write product and client monthly and quarterly commentaries including market updates, attribution, positioning and outlook.
- Update consultant and client databases with product data and portfolio information
- Provide ad hoc analysis and responses for product and client queries
- Assist with competitive analysis using Morningstar and eVestment
- Write, update and maintain product language and data for products in the RFP databases and work with RFP and client portfolio managers to customize as needed.
- Develop comprehensive product knowledge on fixed income investments and all USFI and USMA products.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years fixed income investment experience, preferably at an asset management firm, investment consultant, firm, with basic knowledge of fixed income markets and products
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a finance related field. CFA or advanced degree a plus
- Strong math, data management, and quantitative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Macros and VBA a plus
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to take initiative, work independently as well as part of a team
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Macros and VBA a plus
- Must be detailed oriented and highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Thomson Reuters Refinitiv Eikon
- Understanding of Credit and Emerging Markets Debt
- Experience with credit research and investing
Compensation
Schroders offers a base salary in a range of $100,000 to $120,000 for this position.
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
