Insight Investment is looking for an Investment Oversight Analyst to join the Insight Europe team in Dublin. The Investment Oversight Analyst will work within Insight Europe’s Investment Management Oversight team. The team works closely with colleagues in other teams as well as with investment teams in London and the US. You will work closely with the Investment Director to deliver high-quality analysis and implementation of Insight Europe oversight processes.
The Analyst will develop a broad range of capabilities across asset classes as well as a deep understanding of investment processes and portfolio management considerations.
Role Requirements
- As part of Insight Europe’s Investment Oversight Team, review investment funds and portfolios by inputting to qualitative and quantitative investment analysis
- Work with colleagues across investment teams to review investment processes
- Work with colleagues across other departments as required, including Investment teams, Risk and Compliance
- Co-ordinate reviews of responsible investment related documentation including policies and procedures
- Work with internal teams to support Firm-wide reporting related to Responsible Investment
- Develop knowledge of the applicability of regulations to investment processes eg SFDR (European Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation) and its applicability to investment processes
Experience Required
- Experience working as an Investment Analyst or similar is preferable but not required
- Degree qualified
- A passion for investment markets, data and technology.
- A genuine interest in investment management particularly Responsible Investment and a wish to build a career in this space
- Familiarity with sustainability related topics and how they are relevant to investment management, is preferable
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Inquisitive and comfortable asking questions to solve for specific tasks
- Communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment including an ability to work on different tasks across multiple teams
- Able to work well independently, and take direction as required
