About the Role
As an Investment Manager with aPSL, you will play a critical role in providing investment solutions that meet client needs. You will take responsibility for a broad range of fund sector coverage, leading research efforts, generating new fund ideas, and delivering evidence-backed recommendations. In this role, you will blend funds into composite solutions, engage with internal and external stakeholders, and represent aPSL at key forums and committees.
Key Responsibilities

Chair and attend fund manager meetings, offering insightful evaluations of current and prospective funds.

Lead fund sector research, driving projects and delivering robust recommendations in collaboration with the Multi Manager Solutions (MMS) team.

Develop and present tailored composite fund solutions to meet specific mandates.

Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for specific aPSL solutions, presenting to internal and external clients.

Represent the investment team at committees, providing comprehensive views on the philosophy and current strategies.

Ensure investment suitability and work closely with the Investment Business Risk Teams.

Build strong working relationships across the aPSL business, supporting Business Development Managers, MPS Operations, and the Adviser Account Manager community.

Actively promote aPSL solutions to internal and third-party clients.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Demonstrable experience in investment management, fund analysis, and research.

Ability to conceptualise and blend funds into solutions that meet a range of mandates.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging stakeholders across various levels.

Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, thriving in a flat management structure.

Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to lead and deliver key initiatives.

Deep understanding of investment suitability and risk management processes.
