What you’ll do

As an Analyst or Associate, you’ll assist with new issue execution process through the lifecycle of a bond underwriting transaction from pre-announcement to 90 day settlement including order book reconciliation, trade booking, P&L flash, syndicate settlement.

You’ll act with integrity, due skill, care and diligence, while developing, deepening and institutionalising strong client relationships. Alongside this, you’ll maintain close, collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders, working as part of a cohesive team to deliver joined‑up client outcomes.

You’ll also:

  • Liaise with our global credit sales teams to help package flow secondary activity and investor behavior for our corporate and financial issuer clients
  • Provide regular updates to global colleagues on the US investment grade market, as well as bespoke client updates when required
  • Assist with the preparation of client pitches ensuring high quality content, as well as accurate presentation of the materials
  • Collaborate with other global product partners to further promote USD opportunities beyond senior IG bond issuance
  • Follow closely macro trends from the Strategy team, and use that to take views on the implications and outlook for US investment grade credit
  • Identify trends in the market, and take the initiative to produce high quality, new content to distribute to global origination colleagues
  • Build your network of colleagues within the US and around the globe to be viewed as a Subject Matter Expert on USD capital markets debt financing
  • Continuously maintain a deep understanding of the pulse of the market, and use this knowledge to thoughtfully provide pricing indications and funding recommendations for our issuing customers.
The skills you'll need

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring at least 1-3 years of experience in a sell side bank capital markets position (preferred). We’ll expect you to enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment within the structure of a large global bank, partnering closely with colleagues across the franchise to deliver high calibre client outcomes and advance shared commercial goals.

You’ll also bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree, BA or BS
  • Series 79 and Series 63 licenses
  • Proactive approach to work with good organizational capabilities and high attention to detail
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, Bloomberg and AI tools
  • The confidence to take on broad responsibilities in a growing platform

The expected base annual salary range for this position is $110,000 - $170,000 at the start of employment. This is not a guarantee of compensation.  The exact compensation is determined  on an individualized basis and may vary based on skills, experience, training licensure, certifications and location.  In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus; medical, dental, and vision plans; life and disability insurance; employee wellness programs; retirement and savings plans with potential employer contributions; generous paid time off policy, parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
