Key Areas of Responsibilities
Provide client portfolio advisory to private wealth clients on multi-asset classes including equities, fixed incomes, funds, and structured products based on house view.
Formulate investment strategies that align with client’s target strategic assets allocation to meet investment objectives and risk profile.
Partner sales teams on client meetings or social engagements to articulate investment ideas, investment concepts, create investment proposals and conduct timely portfolio reviews.
Act as the second point of contact by offering market views, planning and execution of investment strategies to private wealth clients.
Monitor client portfolios for performance, appropriateness and investment opportunities.
Keep abreast of new products developments in the market, propose new product ideas, further evaluate and promote ideas approved and endorsed by the products management team.
Ensure that proposed ideas and strategies to clients are closely followed-up with monitoring of market changes and developments that may impact the clients, and give timely advice on the investment portfolios.
Ensure adherence to internal and external regulations and policies at all times.
Ensure integrity of sales process and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Build a highly proactive and long-term relationship with clients by generating and sustaining revenue growth whilst broadening client base.
Requirements
Bachelor degree major in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related disciplines.
Chartered Financial Analyst holder or professional qualification of FRM / CPA is preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience in financial industry in an investment advisory position preferably in Private Banking / Wealth Management specializing in sales and marketing of investment products, dealing experience will be an advantage.
Extensive knowledge of investment products including equities, fixed incomes, funds, structured products, FX, options, futures etc.
Client focused with strong business acumen, presentation (both written and oral), and good relationship building skills.
Pleasant interpersonal and communications skills.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a future-oriented mindset ready to innovate and adapt to changes.
Clear understanding of inter-dependencies and synergies within the team, and able to collaborate effectively across departments.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and remain empathetic, passionate and resilient to both clients’ demands and rapid market changes.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Must be proficient in spoken Mandarin, particularly in product offering concepts and explanation to Greater China clients.
Proficient in written Mandarin communications to clients if necessary.
Possess CACS 1 & 2 certifications, and the relevant CMFAS licensing.
