The Investment Control Specialist is responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and management throughout the entire lifecycle of fixed assets. This includes planning, execution, authorization, payment, adoption, capitalization, depreciation, and asset retirement. This role requires strong skills in investment planning, control, and monitoring, offering technical support, advisory services, audits, and specialized coordination to various departments within the company. Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate medium- and long-term investment planning (3, 5, and 10 years) across Nissan Regional functional areas.
· Manage the annual CAPEX budget to ensure optimal and timely utilization (cash flow management).
· Evaluate cost-reduction investment initiatives using financial tools such as NPV, Payback, and ROI.
· Monitor project execution and timelines using Gantt charts and collaborate with functional teams.
· Develop project structures and detailed WBS (budget line items) in SAP.
· Manage SAP system related to CAPEX budget assignation and budget adjustments.
· Lead CAPEX vs. OPEX meetings to determine appropriate resource allocation.
· Generate CAPEX payment reports by function and entity in SAP, and support variance analysis.
· Validate budgets, review justification documents, authorize purchase baskets, and follow up on approvals for PO creation via Zycus.
· Prepare executive presentations on investment progress and status for each department.
· Engage in cross-functional activities to meet objectives and ensure efficient resource use.
· Conduct on-site reviews of investment progress versus payment milestones.
· Ensure proper adoption and payment tracking of investment projects for asset capitalization.
· Support CAPEX control through physical monitoring, document integration, and accounting record reviews to ensure accurate registration and capitalization.
· Maintain effective communication with finance, accounting, and procurement teams.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in:
· Industrial Engineering
· Actuarial Science
· Business Administration
· Finance
Experience
Minimum of 3 years in:
· Project management and evaluation
· Financial areas
· Cost control
· Fixed asset and CAPEX management

Languages: Advanced English
Technical Skills:
· Advanced Excel (including programming and macros)
· Intermediate to advanced SAP PRD module
