The Corporate Finance team within the JPMorgan Chase Bank Istanbul Branch is primarily responsible for marketing JPMorgan's global advisory capabilities with respect to mergers & acquisitions, equity and debt offerings in the international capital markets to Turkish corporates. In the execution stage of each project the Corporate Finance team works together with the deal teams that are assigned to the respective projects.
Job Summary:
We have an open opportunity at the ED level within the Istanbul team. The role will focus on origination and execution of mergers and acquisitions, as well as equity and debt capital market transactions. The position will partner closely with the financial and corporate client base within Türkiye and industry and product teams within J.P.Morgan.
Job responsibilities

• Covering the bank's existing clients across Türkiye with the aim to maintain and improve business pipelines
• Identifying and covering prospective clients where there is potential to originate corporate finance advisory mandates
• Lead the bank's efforts to originate corporate finance advisory business, including oversight of the preparation of marketing materials, fee proposals and client negotiations
• Oversight of the execution of corporate finance advisory services from origination to closing
• Leveraging global product and industry partners within the bank to assist clients in their strategy and providing the appropriate solutions
• Lead strategic discussions with clients with regards to mergers & acquisitions and capital raising
• Partner with other lines of businesses to ensure delivery of the full platform to the bank's clients

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Proven ability to create, develop and maintain trusted client relationships, as evidenced by, winning new business, closing transactions and possessing valuable professional networks, ideally with this client set
• Effective business person, who can develop viable strategies to grow the overall business with this client set, as well as taking pragmatic steps to execute these strategies
• Flexibility to travel frequently across the region
• • Excellent communication skills
• • Outstanding financial analysis and modelling skills
• 10+ years strong M&A experience in the Turkish banking sector is essential
• Solid communication and project management skills
• In-depth understanding of investment banking products

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Experience in dealing with clients and other transactional advisers
• Strong team player
• Fluent in English and Turkish
