For our office in Luxembourg or Madrid we are searching for an
Dinvestment Associate (m/f/d) or Divestment Manager (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities
- Conduct market and industry research to assess and benchmark potential divestment opportunities and continuously monitor broader market trends
- Analyse financial statements, valuation models and other financial metrics to evaluate and structure potential divestments
- Build, evaluate and stress test financial models
- Prepare divestment memoranda and presentation materials to support divestment recommendations
- Support the divestment due diligence process, including the identification and mitigation of key risks
- Actively work with internal and external departments to ensure successful due diligence & divestment execution
- Assist with the periodic valuation process
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support to senior members of the team
Your qualifications
- University degree in finance, economics, business or a related field or MBA. Additional qualifications (CFA, CA) highly appreciated
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in financial modelling and continuous readiness for further training in this area
- min. 4 years of professional experience in a private equity or M&A environment. Senior profiles are more than welcome to apply
- Strong understanding of finance and investment principles, including financial modelling and valuation techniques
- Committed interest in the energy transition and / or infrastructure core+ experience will be considered favourably
- High attention to detail, strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with an ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in English (written and verbal). Other foreign languages are an advantage
