Role Overview: We are seeking a highly analytical Investment Analyst to join our Secondaries team. The successful candidate will support due diligence and provide financial analysis across varied secondary transactions. You will be instrumental in ensuring best-in-class analysis, reporting, and support for our evolving portfolio, with a focus on private equity secondaries.
Location: Smart Village, Alex Desert Road, Giza, Egypt.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting due diligence processes for secondary transactions across a broad spectrum of asset classes
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis of fund and company-level financials
- Extracting and interpreting data from fund reporting and public/private filings
- Assisting in market and sector research, as well as competitive landscape analysis
- Preparing comps, benchmarking, and valuation analyses
- Helping draft investment materials and memos for internal use
Qualifications Must Have:
- 2–3 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, valuations, or a comparable analytical role
- Skilled in Excel and financial analysis
- Experience conducting public comps and precedent transaction analysis
- Ability to read, interpret, and extract insights from financial filings and fund reports
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English
- Self-starter with a high level of ownership and intellectual curiosity
Good to Have:
- Familiarity with private equity, particularly fund structures
- Experience using data platforms such as Capital IQ, PitchBook, or Preqin
- Creative mindset and interest in identifying patterns, insights, and value drivers
