Investment Analyst, Egypt (GCC Region Focused)

About the Role

F6 Ventures is seeking a highly analytical and operations-oriented Investment Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our portfolio and fund activities. This is a core role focused on collecting, organizing, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data from portfolio companies, supporting deal execution, and enhancing the fund’s internal systems and reporting infrastructure. Ideal for a candidate with a strong foundation in financial modeling, business analytics, and operational reporting, who thrives on precision, consistency, and visibility across portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Analytics & Reporting

• Maintain accurate, real-time dashboards that track key portfolio company KPIs, including MRR, ARR, burn rate, runway, CAC, LTV, active users, and cash balances.
• Produce monthly and quarterly performance reports for internal stakeholders, LPs, and investment committees.
• Calculate fund-level and company-specific return metrics including IRR, MOIC, DPI, and TVPI.
• Standardize and automate reporting across portfolio companies to ensure a consistent, high-quality data flow.

Financial Modeling & Deal Support

• Build financial models and forecasts for existing and prospective portfolio companies.
• Perform sensitivity analyses, scenario planning, and valuation work to support investment decisions.
• Support due diligence by reviewing financial statements, projections, and deal terms.
• Assist in drafting investment memos and internal documentation.

Fund Operations & Systems

• Support in managing equity positions, cap tables, and share movements for the fund and co-investors.
• Ensure accuracy across internal systems for investment tracking, CRM entries, and reporting tools.
• Coordinate with legal counsel and founders to ensure transactional documents are complete and reflect agreed terms.
• Support fund administration tasks, including data room management, compliance documentation, and investor deliverables.

Fundraising & Follow-On Rounds

• Track follow-on fundraising rounds for portfolio companies, including round sizes, valuations, and the implications of dilution.
• Assist in preparing fundraising materials for future F6 Ventures funds (deck development, data compilation, and investor pipeline tracking).
• Provide analytical and operational support for LP engagement and roadshows.

Market Research & Benchmarking

• Conduct benchmarking analyses across comparable startups and sectors.
• Monitor macroeconomic, regional, and sector-specific trends to support investment theses and internal prioritization.
• Support the creation of internal research reports on sectors of interest.

Profile Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, data science, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, or FP&A at a high-growth company.
• Strong command of Google Sheets/Excel and financial modeling; experience with Airtable, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with the KSA & GCC venture ecosystem and regional context is strongly preferred.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accountability in data integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Arabic
• Comfortable working across multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to travel to Abu Dhabi and Riyadh if needed.
