The Impact You'll Have The Investment Analyst will support all aspects of enterprise investment portfolios. This includes but is not limited to strategic asset allocation recommendations, assessment of financial markets, investment performance management, development of investment strategies, liquidity management across the enterprise, assessment of investment risks, development of investment risks analysis and models, and development of investment board-related content. The Investment Analyst will work on multiple simultaneous projects at any given time. This Investment Analyst will report directly to the Investment Director. What You'll Do
- Conduct investment, industry, market, and company research to support investment decisions, due diligence activities, and special projects.
- Develop financial models, analytics, KPI reporting, forecasts, and performance analysis to provide insights on investment results, risks, and business performance.
- Support investment management and risk monitoring processes by preparing reports, ensuring compliance with policies and controls, and maintaining relationships with key investment stakeholders.
- Assist with industry, market, and company research.
- Assist with commentary on performance results, including the impact of market factors and other drivers.
- Assist with financial, analytical, and project management support for financial and operational due diligence processes.
- Assist with the development of models, analytics, peer comparisons, management reporting, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in and assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including budget/forecasting cycles.
- Support investment management decision-making and compliance with investment policies.
- Support the development of risk models and daily risk monitoring through operational and systematic controls and reports.
- Adhere to conducting work through development and approved policies, processes, and controls to ensure compliance and to mitigate risks for the organization.
- Establish, develop, and maintain effective relationships with an investment contact network to maximize the flow of information and enhance the research process.
- Provide research and decision support related to special projects as needed.
- Performs additional responsibilities consistent with the scope and level of the role, as assigned.
- 3+ years of related finance professional experience.
- Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of a degree, an additional two years of relevant experience beyond the qualifications listed above may be accepted.
- Ability to tailor communication to varied audiences, actively listen to uncover requirements, and ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
- Ability to analyze information, identify patterns and root causes, and collaborate with partners to implement practical solutions.
- Ability to effectively organize work, balance competing priorities, and manage time across multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated knowledge in financial industry and insurance industry (i.e., health, captive, and/or life).

- Knowledge of NAIC, SEC, and IRS rules and regulations.
- Experience with Bloomberg Analytics, FactSet, and TMS systems (i.e., Kyriba).

Compensation and Benefits $79,100.00 - $104,800.00 - $130,500.00 AnnualPay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
