Mayvin is seeking an Investigative Research Analyst to assist the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (GLRFTF) and other staff members in all office activities and operations as assigned. The Investigative Research Analyst will work independently to provide overall support.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must undergo and pass a Public Trust background investigation.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze data from federal, state, and local law enforcement and public sources
- Provide analytical support to investigators by accessing various law enforcement and public databases
- Monitor, evaluate, and coordinate various fugitive investigations from all participating agencies, collateral leads from other Regional Fugitive Task Forces and U.S. Marshals Service offices, and investigative requests from non-participating agencies
- Assist in maintaining property inventory, shipping and receiving items, and distribute inventory to personnel and maintaining property transfer receipts
- Assist in creating reports and presentation materials for conferences and meetings
Required Qualifications:
- A high school diploma
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in reviewing, collecting, and analyzing data
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior Federal Law Enforcement experience
- Bachelor’s degree
