As an Investigator at eBay, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into potential violations of our policies, and other suspicious activities on our platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct investigations into reported incidents, including policy violations, and suspicious activities.
• Analyze data and gather evidence to support investigative findings and conclusions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as Trust & Safety, Legal, and People Experience, to address and resolve issues.
• Develop and implement strategies to prevent future incidents and enhance platform security.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of investigative activities and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and recommendations.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging threats to proactively address potential risks.
• Write and oversee training modules related to investigations.
• Collaborate on other projects as needed in EMR.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
