Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Inventory Control Clerk enters purchase orders, confirms receipt of raw
materials and finished goods, manages electronic filing systems, communicates discrepancies between packing slips and physical inventory and scans physical documents for record keeping. This individual must have a good sense of initiative and attention to detail as they assist the quality department with clerical tasks in conjunction with troubleshooting any issues that may arise related to inventory and
operations.
Job Expectations:
● Entering purchase orders for raw materials
● Confirms receipt of raw materials in conjunction with creating the receipt transaction via NetSuite,
● Entering work orders for finished goods, allowing for the creation of PO’s for paid services
(testing, shipping and vendor labor)
● Upload approved PO’s to Box.com for access by the Operations Department
● Verifying units received by way of finished good
● Complete work orders in the attachment of the BOL to the Box files section of the corresponding
NetSuite shipping PO
● Create a NetSuite transaction to record the shipping quote cost, which in turn is used to verify the
shipping invoice
● Entering lot information for finished goods and assigning to WMS location/bin
● Comparing on hand raw material quantities from vendor reports to what is in our system
● Communicate any discrepancies between packing slip receipts and physical inventory receipts
● Entering in sales orders and using system generated reports and information from warehouse
inventory team to make necessary revisions.
