Job Description:

The Director of Engineering supports the district through innovation and strategy development to ensure each operation is using the most cost-effective solutions. He/She is part of the district Business Planning Unit team that is responsible for developing strategies to drive growth and achieve profit and business plan targets. This position improves service reliability and production performance using technology initiatives. He/She completes work measurement studies for integration into operational setups, standard setups, and special customer operations. The Director of Engineering oversees various managers within the department. He/She embraces company culture and promotes its qualities of business integrity, customer responsiveness, teamwork, and shareholder value among employees and within the local community.
