VetsEZ is seeking a full-time remote InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS Architect to design and deliver integrated health solutions for federal healthcare clients, emphasizing automation and semantic interoperability. This hands-on role combines technical leadership with solution design, translating complex requirements into scalable, robust architectures.
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and configure the InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS platform with a focus on automation and CI/CD.
- Design solutions leveraging healthcare standards like HL7v2, FHIR, and IHE.
- Lead development teams, driving the creation of scalable, future-ready solutions.
- Develop APIs, web services (REST, SOAP), and API-based integrations.
- Utilize CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS-based architectures.
- Using AWS-based cloud architectures, VM and Containers, and deployment strategies to Architect solutions.
- Implement security protocols including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML 2.0.
- Program using InterSystems ObjectScript, .NET (C#), or other OOP languages.
- Apply Enterprise Integration Patterns to solution designs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in solution architecture and team leadership.
- Proven ability to develop enterprise-level interoperability solutions.
- HealthShare Unified Care Record Technical Specialist.
- SAFe Agile Architect is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and customer advocacy skills.

- Background in VA systems and healthcare is preferred.
