The InterQual Technical Solutions Architect will serve as the technical subject matter expert during the pre-sales process. This role focuses on guiding payer and provider organizations through solution design for InterQual technology products, ensuring [seamless/successful] implementations of InterQual's integration and interoperability products and solutions. You will communicate existing product capabilities with clarity, help customers understand integration options, and confidently present solutions to both technical teams and C-suite executives. In addition, you will identify new use cases and integration opportunities based on customer needs and collaborate with the product team to explore enhancements and provide voice-of-the-customer feedback. Success in this role requires solid technical foundations, deep knowledge of healthcare technology ecosystems related to prior authorization and utilization management, familiarity with FHIR and interoperability standards, the ability to partner closely with Sales and Product teams to drive strategic outcomes, and solid client presentation skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead technical discovery by conducting assessments with payer and provider teams as well as strategic partners to capture requirements and design future-state architectures
- Own solution design by creating integration blueprints for InterQual products that ensure secure and scalable interoperability for both customers and partners
- Deliver demos and proof-of-concepts by building tailored presentations that showcase InterQual technical product capabilities in real-world workflows for customer and partner audiences
- Communicate and explain existing API specifications clearly to customers and partners, ensuring they understand integration options and technical details
- Explore enhancements and identify new use cases or needs from customers and partners, then bring those ideas to the product team for discussion and potential roadmap consideration
- Develop and maintain a security questionnaire knowledge base and coordinate security assessments with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline diligence processes
- Partner with Sales and Product by collaborating on RFP responses, technical win strategies, and roadmap alignment to support successful deal closure and partner enablement
- Engage executive stakeholders by presenting complex technical solutions clearly and confidently to C-suite audiences and decision-makers at customer and partner organizations
- Support implementation readiness by providing integration playbooks and validation guidance to ensure smooth hand-off to delivery teams and partner onboarding

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience with technical foundation with experience in healthcare technology ecosystems related to prior authorization and utilization management
- 5+ years of experience with communicating and explaining API specifications and integration patterns to technical, clinical, and business audiences
- Proven working knowledge of HL7/FHIR standards and experience with prior authorization interoperability concepts (e.g., CRD, DTR, PAS)
- Proven excellent communication and presentation skills, including comfort engaging C-suite executives
- Demonstrated active listening and ability to identify customer and partner needs and translate them into actionable solution designs
- 25% of travel for customer and partner engagements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a pre-sales or solutions architect role within healthcare B2B SaaS
- Experience with analyzing, implementing, and communicating around Healthcare data exchange standards (FHIR, CCD, etc.)
- Knowledge of clinical decision support technology products and their integration workflows
- Understanding of security and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST) and experience coordinating security assessments
- Experience working in a matrix environment and skills to work with multiple stakeholders across sales, clinical teams, client management as well as other technical product teams

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
