Internship/stage Finance & Control (start as soon as possible)

Note: we’re looking for an intern to start as soon as possible with availability up to 5/6 months.

This is what your internship looks like:

You will join our Financial Control team, which is responsible for the financial reporting and control of over 1,500+ clubs in six countries. In this internship, you’ll work closely with the OPEX Financial Controller and gain hands-on experience with our monthly closing processes and continuous process improvements. Your work will directly support our mission to grow, professionalize, and stay in control during our European expansion.

Your responsibilities:

• Participate in the month-end closing process;

• Prepare journal entries and assist with variance analysis;

• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts;

• Assist in developing and improving cost control processes;

• Help identify and resolve discrepancies;

• Support with internal controls and documentation;

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance and other departments.

Who Are You?

You are a proactive and analytical student with a passion for finance and process optimization. You like working in a fast-paced environment, are eager to learn, and feel comfortable working both independently and in teams.

Additionally, we’re looking for someone who has:

• Enrolment in a HBO Finance or Business Economics program (3rd year);

• Availability of at least 4 days per week;

• Good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus);

• Accuracy and curiosity to understand financial processes;

• A hands-on mentality, proactive mindset and confidence to take initiative.
