We are looking for highly motivated Finance Interns to join our Finance organization.
The extracurricular internships will be placed in the areas of Controllership, FP&A and Operations Finance. The interns will support the different Finance areas in day-to-day activities and in specific improvement projects.
This role offers the opportunity to learn how a global industrial company manages its financial processes, and to contribute to data analysis, reporting and decision support for the business.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Depending on the assigned team, the intern may be involved in some of the following activities:
Support accounting, reporting and analysis activities in the assigned Finance area, namely Controllership, FP&A or Operations Finance
Contribute to month-end closing and financial processes, including basic journal entries, account checks and reconciliations in ERP/finance systems
Help with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, monitoring actuals vs budget and preparing simple commentaries for management
Collaborate with cross functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Tax, etc.) to collect data, resolve issues and support decision making
Use Company digital tools to manage data, build reports and improve the quality and efficiency of Finance processes
Participate in continuous improvement and FLIGHT DECK initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management Engineering or another business related field
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)
Good analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail
Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
Integrity and accountability: acts with high ethical standards, transparency and responsibility in all activities
Proactive and curious: willing to learn, ask questions, challenge the status quo respectfully and seek better ways of working
Team player: collaborates effectively with colleagues from different functions, shares information and supports others when needed
Eligible for an internship according to local regulations
