Undergraduate Intern 2019 - Supply Chain Business Analytics Job Description
Intel Corporation has exciting CPLG (Customer Fulfillment, Planning and Logistics Group) internship opportunities for Summer 2019. Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt administrative nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.
Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Transportation and Supplier management.
- Logistics capabilities development.
- Identifying process improvements based on thorough understanding of business processes and supply chain dependencies.
- Understanding logistics spending drivers and initiating cost savings by identifying innovative opportunities.
- Business Analytics.
- Experience working in a global environment is considered a bonus.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Applicants must be pursuing a BA/BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering or related field.
- This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position .
Preferred Qualifications:
- Logistics/Supply chain experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Capital equipment transportation is an advantage.
- Lean knowledge or experience are a plus.
- Excel skills, logistics, data mining skills are a plus.
