The Product
Our flagship product, Atlas, is a“consumer grade enterprise product.” Think Apple experience with Oracle utility. Atlas supercharges our users’ work by providing them with information on virtually every commercial property in the country. There is literally no other data source like this available anywhere. All that data is interesting, but it isn’t powerful unless you have the ability to work with it, which is why we are building a full suite of specialized software tools on top of it.
The Role
Every commercial property means gargantuan data sets, which in turn means high performance and architecture demands on the software you build. As a small startup, we have a lot of flexibility to tailor a software engineering internship to your individual skillset and interests. You could pick from areas such as designing services in our Ruby on Rails backend, developing frontend features with Angular and even working on scalability related problems.
Our tech stack includes Ruby on Rails, Postgres, PostGIS, Google Maps, AWS, Angular with Typescript, Swift and Python among others.
We’re Looking for Someone Who is:
Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical subject matter, graduating in winter 2021 or Spring / Summer 2022Strong in a backend programming language and/or Javascript/HTML/CSS.Excellent in coding, problem solving and debugging skillsA selfless and team oriented personality, has proactive tendencies, excellent communication skillsA strong work ethic, and the experience or desire to work at a growth stage startup
It’d be Nice if you had:
Ruby on Rails experienceFrontend experience with React or Angular frameworksExperience with AWSExperience with Postgres
