Our software is used by over 10,000 study sites across 44 countries.
What You’ll Bring to The Team:
We seek a talented javascript developer to complete a 3 month internship in which you will help build the future for clinical trials by contributing products in our platform. You will receive mentorship, challenging projects, and experience the reward of shipping code that makes a difference.
You will:
- Be a team player: contribute to our culture, invent new ways to address industry needs, criticize constructively, and help create a world-changing company
- Develop from the ground up a modular architecture to support a web API
- Manage all aspects of the software life cycle (Requirements gathering, Testing, Deployment, Support)
- Write automated tests foster effective, reusable, and flexible code
- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
- Build RESTful APIs with Node.js, Hapi.js, and other frameworks
- Build logic in isolated, independent modules
- Integrate data storage via MongoDB
An Ideal Candidate is/has:
- Passionate about creating high-quality, flexible code
- Understanding of REST API principles and best practices
- Experience in Node.js
- Experience in Angular
- Experience with Express or Hapi.js
- Experience with Git
- Experience with JavaScript, comfortable with ES6/2015
- Basic understanding of design patterns
Bonus Points if you have:
- Proficiency with typescript
- Expertise in programmatic PDF generation and manipulation
- Proficiency in ES6
- Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, ES5+)
- Proficiency in NoSQL databases (MongoDB), specifically performance, modularization, and maintainability
- Proficiency in building modular applications
- Knowledgeable on Microservices and/or Service-Oriented Architecture
- Knowledgeable on security principles (OWASP)
