Responsibilities:
Your New Role...
As part of Content Strategy & Analysis, you will be joining the team responsible for developing and implementing content strategy across WBD's global streaming portfolio, evaluating content performance and trends, and providing insights and recommendations to leadership to influence decision making. This role requires a high level of collaboration with partners across WBD - the right person for this role is the kind of person who obsesses over details, thrives in ambiguity, and jumps at the opportunity to take on new challenges. The Intern position will play a key role in supporting relationships across teams and delivering high quality work in one of the highest priority business initiatives at Warner Bros Discovery.
Qualifications:
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Help develop frameworks and analyses for assessing key strategic questions facing the business, including such areas as:• Evaluating how much and what type of content to invest in• Identifying content performance indicators and trends• Assessing title and portfolio level performance• Help develop and implement benchmarking systems and processes to support analyses and recommendations• Collaborate with other teams, especially Data & Analytics, Finance, Research, and Business Intelligence, to build the tools and processes necessary to drive strategy and analysis initiatives• Support Content and other Streaming teams in understanding current performance on the platform, connecting content insights to business opportunity• Provide support for senior management, including strategy reviews, board presentations, and other leadership meetings or ad-hoc projects as required
Qualifications & Experience...
- Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship)
- Must be a first year MBA candidate
- Must have the legal right to work in the United States
- Advanced knowledge of PC/Mac, Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel skills (business and financial modelling)and Word.
- Highly organized and self-directed; able to keep on an assigned track with minimal direction
- Strong presentation development skills (design and verbal)
- Solid knowledge of social media with clear understanding of marketing principles
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic research methods and strategies preferred.
About the Internship Program...
- Our Summer 2023 program is a 11-12 Week Internship that will run from Monday, June 5th through Friday, August 25th, 2023
- Full time-schedule (35-40 hours/week) required
- Company-issued computer or secured remote access provided for the duration of the internship program
- Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive salary. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
