The Red Hat Marketing Localization team is looking for a creative, passionate individual who is ready to join us as a Marketing Localization Intern and learn within an innovative and dynamic company. As a Marketing Localization Intern, you'll be responsible for researching our core language offerings at Red Hat, and finding ways to improve our localization processes and best practices to ensure that marketing content at Red Hat has the greatest possible impact.
The focus for Red Hat's Intern Program is a dual partnership between the Early Talent team and our intern managers. We can offer you professional development, social engagement and networking, performance and development, and meaningful work throughout your summer at Red Hat.
What you will do
- With guidance from the Marketing Localization project managers, Learn about and help support marketing localization projects (from upload to delivery), and share opportunities for improvement
- Partner with internal strategists and data scientists to research additional opportunities to expand Red Hat's marketing languages
- Identify process improvements that help enable Red Hatters to more easily localize marketing content, efficiently, and with high quality
- Present suggestions and research to the Localization team and other global marketers at Red Hat
What you will bring
- Ability to work full time, May-August
- Currently pursuing a degree; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date
- Passion for language, customer experience, and technology
- Problem-solving skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, resourceful, and engaged
- Comfortable collaborating across the organization and the globe
- Excellent communication skills
The following are considered a plus:
- Experience with localization or global marketing content
- Multi-lingual
