The Marketing Enablement and Development team is looking for a Marketing Enablement and Communications Intern to join us. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of enablement learning and development professionals, designers, writers, multimedia specialists, and subject matter experts to develop online learning components-primarily digital course content and enablement materials for tool enablement and marketing programs. This is a summer 2022 internship opportunity.
Under the guidance of the learning professionals on the team, you will create marketing technologies and capabilities learning and enablement aids (e.g., learning guides, checklists, infographics, one-pagers, storyboards) for our global marketing audience. Applying your written and verbal communication skills, you'll promote the new learning aids and support changes globally and across business units through internal communication via Red Hat's intranet and our team's biweekly newsletter, Traction.
The focus for Red Hat's Intern Program is a dual partnership between the Early Talent team and our intern managers. We can offer you professional development, social engagement and networking, performance and development, and meaningful work throughout your summer at Red Hat.
What you will do

  • Collaborate with team's learning and development professionals, designer, and writer to
  • to create marketing technologies and capabilities learning and enablement aids
  • Work with subject matter experts to define the project request, gather requirements, and define objectives and due dates
  • Follow the team's instructional design practices and project management processes
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement and documentation of the team's processes and procedures
  • Develop communication materials and utilize existing communication channels (e.g., intranet, newsletter, email, chat) to promote new marketing technologies and capabilities enablement materials

  • Demonstrated interpersonal and time management skills in a dynamic environment
  • Digital file organization skills with demonstrated ability and comfort using Google Suite
  • Coachable, energetic, and detail-oriented; enjoy the journey as much as the destination
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse and global group of people including writers, designers, subject matter experts, and other business stakeholders
  • Currently pursuing a degree; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date at the start of the internship
