About the roles:

The internship will provide an opportunity to learn how to work within a corporate legal department at a fast-growing fintech, gain insight into how in-house lawyers interact with business clients and outside counsel, conduct legal research, and work on a variety of projects supporting Robinhood Legal’s initiatives.

We have internship openings on six different Legal teams:

Regulatory (Fall internship): Learn about and work on regulatory related matters including projects related to our financial products and services and the rules that apply to them

Product (Summer internship): Learn about and work on product launches and related regulatory matters in the money management space, including investing, crypto and payments

Corporate (Fall internship): Learn about and work on corporate-related matters including corporate governance matters, M&A and corporate development, and corporate transactional matters

Privacy (Winter, Summer, or Fall internship): Learn about and work on privacy and data related matters including projects related to privacy and data protection laws, marketing, AdTech, Artificial Intelligence, machine learning and peer-to-peer payment flows

Litigation (Fall internship, Washington DC): Learn about and work on civil litigation, mediations and arbitrations, and regulatory examinations and investigations within an in-house team at a fast-growing fintech company

Government Affairs (Winter, Summer, or Fall internship): Monitor current events, provide coverage for and analysis of congressional hearings and legislation, regulatory policy meetings, regulatory advisory committee meetings, key public statements from relevant government officials, and other policy and regulatory developments

About you:

  • Currently enrolled in an American Bar Association accredited institution
  • Excellent judgment and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Execution oriented demeanor with the humility, drive, and creativity to get things done
  • Eager to learn about new and emerging technologies

Bonus points:

  • Experience with technology and/or financial services companies, a plus but not required
