Fall 2022 Retail Innovation Internship
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions (TGCS) is seeking an Intern to join the Retail Innovation team. This role is open to students currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program or master's degree program, majoring in computer science or computer engineering. The intern will support the research, evaluation, and development of start-of-the-art Edge devices for use in potential retail technology market opportunities. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of undergraduate study in computer science/engineering, with a knowledge of Artificial Intelligence / Computer Vision, a passion for learning and research, and an interest in pursuing a career in this area.
Areas of Expertise & Special Skills:
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
- Basic knowledge/experience in Java
- Basic knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages is a plus.
- C/C++, Python, JavaScript
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Deep/Machine Learning is preferred.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn quicklyand work independently on assigned tasks.
