Position Summary
Summary: As a member of CSS Finance, this Finance Intern supports the AGS Americas Finance in financial planning and analysis. The intern also supports the monthly business operation reviews preparation. He/she ensures cost and head count and labor utilization report generated to management for monitoring purpose. He/she would also participate in multi-year budgeting preparation and performs ad hoc activities assigned from the management.
Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to perform financial activities with minimal supervision.
- Alert management on head count, costs, labor utilization changes or deficiencies
- Participate in MYB budgeting cycle by leveraging previous years' knowhow
- Perform periodical reviews on intragroup contracts
- Support month end closing and BOR preparation
- Responsible for generating and communication recurring cost, utilization report to management
- Support CSS backlog reconciliation and potential audit documentation work
Minimum Requirements: Skills, Experience, Education, Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Certifications, Language
- Currently college or graduate students majored in finance/accounting/business
- Excellent MS Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments independently without specific instruction but receives additional specific instructions from Team Leader for new, difficult, or special projects/assignments
Preferred Qualifications
- Students from a respectably ranked university
- ERP and,or PowerBI experience is a plus
- IFRS knowledge and experience highly desirable
