AgVenture Product Marketing Intern

AgVenture, Inc. a multi-channel seed group of Corteva, is currently seeking a Product Marketing Intern to work during the summer of 2023 (May-September)This position will be located in Johnston, Iowa, on the Corteva Agriscience campus.
During the course of the internship, you will:
- Establish and maintain Johnston corn and soybean plots
- Work with product marketing team to create agronomy library content, including blog posts, videos, photos, and white papers
- Assist product team with in-field crop assessments and collecting product samples
- Complete day-in-the-life ride-alongs with AgVenture sales team members and product life cycle managers from Corteva's Multi-Channel Seed group
This position will complement your formal education by providing the opportunity to experience a broad overview of opportunities in the seed industry, contribute to bringing innovative products to our customers, build interpersonal and communication skills while working closely with our internal and external teams, enhance and develop your skills through practical experience, and gain experience in independently managing your time and priorities.
Qualifications
Qualifications: What will you bring to the table?
- Enrollment in Agronomy, Ag Business, or related agricultural degree program.
- Completion of at least 2nd year of study desired.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Skilled with MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Adobe Creative Cloud desired.
- High level of skill with written communications.
- Valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Basic knowledge of corn and soybean production practices.
- Superior work ethic, highly motivated, and thorough attention to detail.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills/experience desired.
