The internship opportunities will be available on several teams within the SRM division and will last approximately 10 weeks. 

Key Activities 

  • Completes a variety of projects and assignments. Projects range from quantitative analytical work to qualitative presentations and write-ups. 

  • Examples include assisting on bank examinations by conducting financial analysis and reviewing compliance with laws and regulations, including those focused on consumer protection, evaluating statutory and other relevant factors that must be considered in connection with processing a bank application, and providing continuous improvement recommendations on the use of internal websites and automated tools.  

  • Presents oral and written findings and assessments to Federal Reserve Bank Management. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Undergraduate students with a graduation date between May 2027 - May 2028, or current graduate students studying a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a business-related field. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem solving, initiative, and leadership skills. 

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment. 

  • Proficient computer skills in programs including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Additional Information  

How We Work: 

  • On-site, full-time with 5 days per month remote work flexibility 

  • Travel: Travel required for Bank Examinations and to Kansas City Headquarters for onboarding and offboarding

Pay Rate: 

  • $22.00 per hour (Denver)

  • Final offers are determined by factors including the candidate’s qualifications, internal alignment considerations, district assignment, and geographic location.  

   

Screening Requirements: In some cases, positions require access to confidential supervisory information, access to which is limited to "Protected Individuals" as defined by regulation of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, 12 CFR 268.205. Protected Individuals include, but are not limited to, U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent resident aliens (also known as "green card holders") who are eligible for and seeking United States citizenship within the requisite timeframes. 

 

This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. These additional screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take up to a couple of months to be completed. The candidate's start date may be impacted by completion of the screening. The areas screened may include education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reference checks.
