The opportunity

  • Join teams/ squads  and support with company, market and competitive research for potential strategic partnerships, alliances and/ or M&A transactions 

  • Prepare company profiles for senior leadership  

  • Provide support to chapter members and chapter lead in project tracking, support various departmental wide projects such as record management, process and database setup as well as to build and administer central repository for deals in that chapter

  • Deliver various deal support, such as deal updates, summaries and reports, management of due diligence, financial models, building and tracking of our proactive partnering  watch list

Who You Are

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s degree (within 12 months), preferably in Life Sciences or related fields (e.g., Microbiology, Chemistry, Medicine, Computer Science, Engineering)

  • Eager to apply academic knowledge in a modern work environment through an internship

  • Solid background in Finance, Business Administration, or Business from a Bachelor's degree, relevant coursework, or work experience (e.g., internships in consulting, banking, or corporate finance)

  • Current MBA enrollment is considered a plus

  • Proficient in MS Office and G Suite, especially PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities

  • Highly results-driven with a hands-on and proactive approach to completing projects

  • Well-organized and capable of managing tasks independently

  • Demonstrates strong self-discipline and time management

  • Interest in and knowledge of In-Vitro Diagnostics is preferred

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage

-The preferred start date for the internship is July/August 2025. 

-Part-time employment is possible (at least 30 hours per week)
-Location: Rotkreuz or Basel (Please
indicate your preferred location in the cover letter.)

-If required, it is possible to write a thesis during the internship.

-The application deadline is April 30th.

-Interviews will take place in the second and third week of May (between 5th and 23rd May).
