Flip is the leading AI-powered employee experience platform for frontline workers. We're transforming how the people who keep the world running — in retail, manufacturing, and logistics — do their jobs. One app. One touch. Everything they need.
Our mission: Connect every employee to everything they need in one touch.
Job description
Do you want to be at the forefront of how a fast-growing AI company wins its most strategic deals? As our Strategic Prospect Consulting Intern in Solution Engineering, you won't just be watching from the sidelines — you'll actively shape how we engage with prospects, build the business case for Flip, and translate complex customer challenges into compelling solutions. You'll work directly with our Head of Solution Engineering and a team of experienced Solution Engineers, bringing structure, analytical rigor, and sharp thinking to the full pre-sales cycle. From discovery to demo to decision, you'll help ensure that every prospect interaction is as strategic as it is impactful.
We are looking for an intern to join our team starting immediately and for a duration of at least 6 months.
What awaits you with us
- Prospect Research & Discovery Preparation: Deeply analyzing target companies — their industry, org structure, frontline workforce challenges, and digital maturity — and structuring hypothesis-driven discovery frameworks that help our Solution Engineers go into prospect calls with the right questions, pain hypotheses, and success criteria.
- Business Case Development: Building clear, data-backed value models that quantify the impact of Flip for specific prospect profiles — giving our customers a compelling reason to move forward.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Analyzing the competitive landscape and how competing solutions are positioned from a functional and technical perspective, so we always know where Flip wins and how to articulate it.
- Technical Environment Analysis: Supporting the identification of prospects' IT infrastructure, system landscapes, and integration requirements — helping to translate technical complexity into solution fit.
- SE Support & Internal Assets: Supporting Solution Engineers in demo preparation, RFP/RFI contributions, and building reusable solution playbooks and use case libraries for our key verticals — as well as tracking SE engagement metrics to surface insights that improve how we operate.
- You're currently pursuing a Master's or advanced Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, (Business) Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- You work in a structured, hypothesis-driven way with a strong focus on execution and output quality.
- Initial experience in Consulting, Sales, Business Development, or Startups / fast-paced environments is a major plus.
- A background or strong interest in IT, SaaS, or B2B Tech — particularly system integrations, enterprise software, or technical pre-sales — is a significant advantage.
- You have strong communication skills in German and English — clear, persuasive, and confident in both writing and speaking.
- You are proactive, reliable, and bring a genuine team-player mentality.
- Work mode: We’re remote-first, giving you flexibility to work from home. At the same time, we deeply value the power of in-person collaboration. Depending on the role, you’ll join occasional team events, workshops, or meetings in our Berlin or Stuttgart offices - always with plenty of notice. The exact balance will be discussed during your interview.
- Work-Life-Balance: We don't want you to grow roots to your desk chair. That's why we cover the costs of your E-Gym-Wellpass membership and offer job bike leasing.
- Celebrating success: Expect highly motivated and committed people in a relaxed working atmosphere.
- Be part of something bigger: You actively shape Flip in your role. Along the way, you are an enabler of the rapid growth process of a young tech company and grow towards your goals, fun is guaranteed.
- Happy to be a Flipster: Stay tuned for regular team events and culture days that bring us together as Flipsters.
- Working abroad: At Flip you can also work abroad in the European Union. Let's talk about remote work in the interview.
At Flip, everyone is welcome - no matter what gender you identify as or how old you are. Sexual identity, origin, religion, world view and disabilities do not influence your potential job at Flip. The most important thing is that YOU fit in!
