Each internship is a full-time, paid position.

Responsibilities
Esri interns contribute to real projects and are mentored by team members along the way. Some of our technically-oriented interns have worked on a wide range of exciting projects such as:
- Research state of the art methods or approaches that can be used to improve the software or solve a new problem
- Help design, test, and document new functionality in ArcGIS products
- Develop use cases that show the value of spatial analysis in solving important problems that we face as a society
- Write blog posts or learn lessons that explain how to use ArcGIS to accomplish a well-defined goal
- Be part of building the world’s leading GIS software from the ground up
Requirements
- We seek students who are majoring in GIS or Geography and are currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program at a university; undergrads must be a junior or in senior standing
- Knowledge and experience in ArcGIS
- Software testing or scripting skills are a bonus!
- Ability to obtain work authorization in the UAE in 2024
- Able to complete a 6 month internship beginning in August 2024
