Job Description

Purpose of the Programme

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Internship program at Ocorian. This is an excellent opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on experience in the financial services industry. As an Intern, you will gain insight into our business operations, develop essential skills, and contribute to meaningful projects within our teams.

Internships will be 4 - 52 weeks in length, so please advise your preference on application.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day operations across various departments, including HR, Operations, Finance, Fund administration, Corporate Services, and Compliance.
  • Support team members in preparing and organizing documentation for client meetings and presentations.
  • Conduct research and analysis to assist in project development and client reporting.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiencies.
  • Shadow experienced professionals to gain a deeper understanding of the financial services industry.
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects in a timely manner, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Or currently, at school leaver level, and thinking of a career in Financial Services
  • Strong interest in financial services and a desire to learn more about the industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), particularly Excel (preferably having worked with Pivot Tables and V Lookups)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
