Internship - Post Sputter Process Engineering

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in development of processes as necessary for Post Sputter Engineering, specifically in areas of lubrication and tape polish
2. Assist in qualification of new processes via running of evaluations and data collection and making interpretation with use of statistical tools
3. Participate in the Post Sputter Engineering in New Product Introduction (NPI) task forces to share ideas and inputs
4. Assist in coordination of NPI runs
5. Assist in documentation needs
6. Learn and use various tools such as Minitab and spotfire to add statistical interpretation to data
7. Participate in FMEA, process verification and IMS and understand the complementary effect of all of these tools to each other.
8. Participate in process improvement activities and work in tandem with maintenance engineering, QA, and analytics.

REQUIRED

Bachelor in Engineering ( Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent ) or Bachelor of Science (Physics, Chemistry , Applied Science or equivalent)
