Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our People & Culture team in Luxembourg for a six-month internship.

This is a broad HR generalist internship providing exposure to different aspects of the employee lifecycle and the day-to-day work of a local People & Culture function. Working closely with the local HR Business Partner and wider HR colleagues, you will support employees and managers while contributing to the smooth delivery of local HR activities.

Alongside generalist HR responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to local projects designed to improve how we work. These will include supporting the digitalisation and organisation of employee files, identifying simpler and more effective ways of working, and helping coordinate the delivery of local learning sessions.

The internship is designed to provide hands-on experience across both HR operations and employee-facing activities, while giving you the opportunity to take ownership of defined projects and improvements.

What you'll do

Employee lifecycle & HR generalist support

  • Support the local HR team with key moments across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes and offboarding.

  • Assist with day-to-day HR administration and help ensure employee documentation and records are organised and up to date.

  • Provide first-level support for general HR queries from employees, directing more complex matters to the appropriate HR colleague.

  • Support the HR Business Partner with preparation of employee and manager communications, documentation and other generalist HR activities.

  • Liaise with HR colleagues and other internal stakeholders to support the delivery of local People & Culture activities.

Support local HR projects, learning & ways of working

  • Support local People & Culture projects and initiatives, which may include improving HR processes, policies, templates, documentation and/or ways of working.
  • Contribute to identifying opportunities to simplify and improve existing HR processes and practices.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of local learning sessions, including planning, communications, logistics and participant coordination.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and, where relevant, external providers to support local HR and learning initiatives.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience and improving the effectiveness of the local People & Culture function.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications that’ll help

  • Currently studying towards, or recently completed, a university degree, ideally in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Management or a related discipline.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with an interest in AI and digital tools and how they can be used to improve ways of working.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several activities in parallel.

  • Ability to handle employee information with appropriate confidentiality and discretion.

  • Interest in Human Resources and a desire to gain practical exposure to a broad HR generalist role.

  • Previous internship, project or academic experience related to HR, business administration or project coordination would be an advantage.

  • Additional language skills relevant to a Luxembourg environment would be advantageous.
