Assignment
Our current belt tracking unit for bi-directional conveyors causes wear to the belt which reduces its lifetime. This leads to downtime for our customers, as well as additional costs for parts and labor when the belt needs to be replaced.
The current design is also quite heavy/bulky and could be made more lean to save weight and costs. A belt tracking unit is used at bi-directional conveyors to ensure good tracking of the belt in both running directions. How can we ensure good belt tracking behavior for our bi-directional conveyors with a lean design belt tracking unit which minimizes wear to the belt?
