A Day in the LifeThis is a temporary (min 3, max 6 months) position for an intern, data scientist, to develop a proprietary LLM on diabetes technology with the following applications (in order of priority):- internalization of verbatim analysis (agility, cost saving)
- identification of market signals thru web scrapping (competitive edge)
- improvement of bots / search fields
- This is a temporary position.
- In charge of creating and transferring operating knowledge of a proprietary LLM centered on Diabetes Technology:
1 Project scoping (Listing of use case and prioritization, depending on time available for delivery)
The project scoping will need to make conscious trade-offs between future model adaptation in breadth (new data sources, new use cases, multiple user interface, ...)
and
depth (frequency of dataset update, impact of data publication time to model sensitivity, sentiment capture, ...)
2 Tool(s) selection
3 Model build-up (agile speed-runs) with QC from other tools.
4 Transfer of operating knowledge to one team member (not to be rushed towards the end!)
Autonomy: Entry-level individual contributor on a project or work team.
Works with close supervision.
Organizational Impact: This will help the organization make faster decisions on free-text signals.
Innovation and Complexity: The intent is to internalize some LLM and NLP skills within Strategy and Business Insights to gain in agility in an increasingly more competitive market.
Communication and Influence: The person will primarily interact with members of the Strategy and Business Insights team.
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires a bachelor in data science, IT, NLP with a genuine interest in the field of free-text treatment and automation.
