Internship – 4 - 6 Months
AI (Artificial Intelligence) for IP analysis
Airbus IP Analytics and Intelligence is an integral part of the Airbus Intellectual Property Department
and is based out of Bangalore, India. IP analytics team is to provide technical intelligence based on
publicly available patent data combined with extrinsic data sources such as technical and business
intelligence, social media and demographic data, is a rich source of information which can be used to
distil the strategy, behaviour, commercial planning and IP posture of players in a technology ecosystem
and can be a revealing insight into the technology-strategy of a company.
Job scope (core activities):
● Extracting data from multiple databases, screening the extracted data and analyzing the
screened data.
● Bringing out valuable insights from the analyzed data.
○ Forecast the technology direction
○ Competitor’s technology movements
○ Whitespace analysis
○ Identifying potential technology collaborators
○ Alerting management on business risks
● Prepare a report on technology development and protection strategies
Required Expertise:
● Deep knowledge on Anatomy of AI and related technologies
● Aerospace knowledge including aircraft ground and in-flight operations, avionics and related
technologies.
● Basic understanding of Intellectual property mainly patents and its use for a company
● Well versed with MS Office and Google Workspace
