The final goal of the early phase study is to obtain human clinical data to characterize the safety and immunogecnity profile of the vaccine and to support the progression of clinical development.
Why is this research important for GVGH/GSK: This project will hugely support the development of a new vaccine which is aligned with GSK/GVGH overall Global Health objectives. The execution of this clinical study will provide safety and immunogenicity data that will be the basis for further development of a vaccine for endemic regions of the world.
