Play a key role in supporting the transformation and innovation of OCBC's treasury operations. As a Treasury Operations Intern, you'll be part of a dynamic team that drives process improvement, automation, and operational excellence across Global Markets, Group Risk Management, and Group Functions. What You Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Process Improvement: support initiatives to streamline operational processes and enhance efficiency across treasury operations.

  • Automation & Innovation: assist in developing and enhancing user-assisted tools, leveraging technology to automate manual processes and improve productivity.

  • Data Analysis: analyse operational data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and areas for optimisation.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with business, operations, and technology stakeholders to understand challenges and support the implementation of solutions.

  • Tool Enhancement: maintain and improve existing solutions, including Excel macro- and Python-based tools, to support business requirements.

  • Change Enablement: support the adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working across the organisation.

  • Ad-hoc Tasks: provide support on other operational excellence, automation, and transformation initiatives as assigned.

Who You Work With

The GO&T - GM, GRM & Group Functions team supports critical operations that enable the bank's treasury activities and business functions to operate efficiently and effectively. The team partners with stakeholders across Operations, Technology, Global Markets, and Risk Management to drive process optimisation, enhance controls, and deliver innovative solutions that support the bank's business objectives.

You'll be part of a collaborative team that embraces continuous improvement, innovation, and learning to create lasting impact across the organisation.

Who You Are

  • Proficient in Excel, including the use of macros, and Python programming.

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.

  • Knowledge of treasury products such as Foreign Exchange (FX) and Securities will be an advantage.

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
