Description of assignmentThe Sales Support Office is looking for a Data Analyst / BI Developer to strengthen our global sales organization. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing structured knowledge management, enhancing automation, and creating high-impact dashboards for data-driven insights in Power BI.
We’ll give you the opportunity to:
- Take ownership of a strategic Sales Reference Portal within the Distribution domain;
- Enhance the speed and credibility of global sales proposals;
- Develop dashboards that provide commercial and reference-based insights;
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Sales Managers and support teams globally;
- Make a visible impact on how we use data to win projects worldwide
The Sales Support Office is centrally positioned in the global sales organization of the Distribution domain. Our main target is to enable the global sales community with aligned content. Based in Veghel, the Netherlands, you will be working closely with colleagues based in North America, India and Barcelona. The responsibilities of the department vary from commercial content to data calculations, sustainability Life Cycle assessments, AI and visualization. The focus of this assignment is on AI. Power BI, data dashboards, and overall process optimization are key.
Tasks/responsibilitiesAs a Sales Support Engineer, you are responsible for developing, maintaining and expanding the Sales Reference Portal. In today’s competitive market, Sales Engineers must quickly identify relevant reference projects to demonstrate feasibility, performance and credibility to prospective customers. Clear, structured and accessible reference material is essential to support decision-making during the sales phase.
In this role, you will:
- Build and further develop a centralized Sales Reference Portal for the Distribution domain;
- Integrate and structure existing project databases into one intuitive and searchable environment;
- Develop automated workflows (e.g. via Power Automate) to ensure reference material is
consistently captured when projects are won; - Define and manage filtering logic (e.g. country, customer type, solution type, throughput ranges, equipment types, etc.);
- Ensure both high-level commercial references and detailed project-specific material are available for internal and external use;
- Act as moderator and process owner, safeguarding completeness and data quality
- You have an analytical mindset & affinity with structured data handling and process optimization;
- Experience with or an interest in Power Automate, SharePoint or similar workflow tools;
- Experience with or an interest in Power BI is strongly preferred;
- You are a proactive person who enjoys connecting with new people and cutures globally;
- Strong communications skills in English (Dutch is a plus). Indicate what you expect from the eventual research
