Your role and responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to support the Product Manager in optimizing the offer portfolio and return on investment, contributing to the Product Management function in Business Line Energy Distribution, Smart Buildings, Electrification in Italy. Each day, you will ensure that ABB has full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities. You will also showcase your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities supporting the development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.

Work model: #LI-Hybrid.

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

  • Collaborating with global product management by supporting product launches, analyzing performance, implementing marketing tools, and managing data.

  • Understanding market dynamics by identifying customer needs, tracking segment trends, and following global standards and requirements.

  • Conducting competitive and market analysis by evaluating ABB’s positioning, identifying product gaps, and analyzing segments, products, and channels.

  • Managing product specifications and marketing materials by overseeing technical details and assisting in the creation of brochures and catalogues.

Qualifications for the role

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Industrial, Management engineering or Economics.

  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of Computer literacy, knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • At ease communicating in English and Italian; German will be considered a plus.

  • Team working and good interpersonal skills, results orientation, innovation spirit, proactivity and leadership.
