Your Role
You are a collaborative and well-organized individual with an eye for design and knowledge of, or interest in, global inclusion, social impact, purpose-led business, or corporate social responsibility. You will receive mentorship and hands-on experience, reporting to the Global Inclusion Program Manager and is based – in-person – in the firm’s Chicago office.
You have an impactful opportunity to work with Gensler’s Global Inclusion Studio – Global Inclusion Director, Global Inclusion Program Manager and Global Inclusion Specialist – to help address the team’s priorities and complete projects aligned with objectives and key results (OKRs) and the firm’s Strategies to Build a Just and Inclusive Future. What You Will Do

Assist the Global Inclusion Studio in addressing time-sensitive priorities and completing projects aligned to team objectives and key results (OKRs) and the firm’s strategies to build a just and inclusive future

Partner with Global Inclusion Studio, Global Inclusion Committee members, Regional Inclusion Co-Leaders, local Inclusion Champions and Alliance Partners to complete assignments by target deadlines

Support the Global Inclusion Studio with administrative activities, including note taking, team scheduling, presentation decks, file organization and management and/or other duties
Your Qualifications
- Completion of at least two years of post-high school education or equivalent experience
- Capable of consistently maintaining a high level of confidentiality
- Proficient in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Maintains a strong attention to detail
- Passion for equity, inclusion and community-focused work
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft SharePoint a plus
- Ability to work – in-person – in Gensler’s Chicago office 40 hours per week (June through August 2025). The team will work with the final candidate to accommodate holiday schedules throughout the internship.
