About the Role:
Do you enjoy uncovering insights with data in and want to be part of a fast-growing Amazon team with ambitious goals?
As a Digital Insights Intern, you will support our Indirect E-Commerce team. This role focuses on applying data analytics techniques and AI to build a future-proof data framework, ad hoc analysis requests, helping stakeholders understand key sales and performance metrics, and exploring new technologies that can enhance our data-driven decision-making.
You will gain hands-on experience with large datasets, analytics tools, and AI techniques, while collaborating closely with the Commercial and Marketing team.
What You Will Do:
- Support ad hoc analysis requests from Amazon stakeholders (sales, marketing, promotions).
- Explore and suggest modern tools or AI approaches to improve data self-service and reporting.
- Assist in creating, maintaining, and analysing reports (weekly, monthly, post-campaign).
- Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders through visualizations and presentations.
What You Need to be Successful:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, computer science or a related field
- Strong analytical mindset with an interest in solving problems using data
- Comfortable working with complex data and exploring it to uncover insights
- Strong analytical skillset in Excel, Power Query and advanced knowledge in SQL
- Fundamental knowledge in digital marketing & e-commerce
- Basic experience of Python (e.g. Pandas, NumPy) is a plus
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar is a plus
- Comfortable working with complex data and exploring it to uncover insights
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to explain insights simply
- Proactive and eager to learn, with an interest in AI technologies in a business context
- Patient and attentive, with the ability to listen, collaborate, and thoughtfully share insights
